About the SCMF-SWF Ohio Writers Scholarship

The SCMF-SWF Ohio Writers Scholarship supports a promising woman writer with strong Ohio ties (e.g., Ohio native, long-time resident, Ohio-educated) to travel overseas and advance her work. Or in the case of an Ohio expat, help her grow her community and give her some hometown support.

The 2024 scholarship features one complimentary admission to the Stockholm Writers Festival (SWF), scheduled for August 23–25, 2024. It also includes a one-on-one meeting with a literary agent and a $1,500 cash travel stipend.

Applications for the 2024 scholarship are being accepted through March 15, 2024.
